It started out with me wanting a fun and easy name, but every time I thought of a name it sounded lame. Then I asked my dear sister if should she could help. She had just started Spanish so she looked through her Spanish electronic dictionary. I have always dreamt of being an actress so we thought that might be a good word – so cantanta, then I registered my domain and then we found out afterwards that we had mixed singer and actress up, so I had chosen singer instead. I kept the name because I liked the sound of it, so now I use cantanta everywhere on the net.
